Wallonia: A Region of the Future
Once again, Wallonia is praised as one of the best locations for investors, ranking 5th on Foreign Direct Investment magazine's 2008 Regions of the Future shortlist, a study taking into account 75 indicators of locations' attractiveness for investment and potential for economic development. Outstanding quality of life and infrastructures, low costs and strong economic potential; all in all, our region is one the most business-friendly in the world. Moreover, Wallonia's export growth has soared up to 10% between January and September 2007, which is almost 5% above the European average. With the Walloon region as dynamic as can be, the heart of Europe is beating faster than ever!
The Wallonia Foreign Trade & Investment Office will be among the exhibitors at several trade shows this year, such as Farnborough International Airshow (14th-20th July, Farnborough), 100% Design (18th-21st September, London) and Genesis (9th-10th December, London) - we hope to see you there.
