High productivity of the Belgian workforce, Belgium in the top 3:

A closer look at the country by country breakdown of the report of the Conference Board shows that Belgium has made headway, and has notched up a remarkable 3rd place (up from fifth at the end of 2005) in the classification of countries with the highest productivity per hour of labour. Only Luxembourg and Norway do better than Belgium, which outstrips France and Ireland. The high productivity of the Belgian workforce is therefore far from being a myth.
